Non-Government Organization ‘Peoples Oriented Program Implementation’ (POPI) has organized Quarterly Co-ordination Meeting of ELNHA (Empowering Local and National Humanitarian actors) project for lead actors on 27th July, 2017 at PART, POPI Kishoregonj. Tarafder Md. Akther Jamil, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Kishoregonj was the chief guest in the quarterly Coordination meeting.
The Chief Guest Tarafder Md. Akther Jamil said that Non Governmental Organization POPI is doing satisfactory role at Kishoregonj to accomplish the proposed activities of ELNHA project. He suggested that more coordination with GO-NGO needs to accomplish the proposed activities smoothly. He expects that all lead actors of ELNHA project, POPI will play the key role in emergency Humanitarian response.
In the coordination meeting the Executive Directors of Different NGOs like Trishna, Dot. BD, ARP, UAPO, Chetona, Shad BD, UPAMA, representative from Red Crescent, FSCD, UP member of Binnati Union Parishad, Secretary and Panel Chairman of Boulai Union Parishad, Project Manager, SK. Kamrul Hossain and Project Officer of Capacity Building of ELNHA project was presented the meeting also.
