Decided by the University Academic Council and subsequent approval by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Naryn State University named after Satybaldy Naamatov has awarded a Diploma and Honorary Doctorate degree to Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil International University (DIU) & Daffodil Family for his contribution to Education in the field of Entrepreneurship. Professor DK Omuralieva, the Honorable President, conferred this degree upon Mr. Khan at the university campus in Naryn, the Kyrgyz Republic in a grand ceremony in front of Senate members of the Naryn State University.
Earlier, the President and Senate of the Ala-Too International University of Kyrgyzstan Republic have also conferred the Honorary Doctorate to Mr. Md. Sabur Khan for his contribution to education in entrepreneurship. With a view to making a thriving future generation, Mr. Khan has initiated his mission to create 500+ new entrepreneurs in the country through the Department of Entrepreneurship of DIU. His pioneering initiatives such as- business incubator, startup, venture capital, lecture series, Entrepreneur Guidance Program, Innovation & Incubation Centre, Entrepreneurs MeetUp, Are You the Next Startup, are some other example of promoting entrepreneurship. He has been a visiting professor and honorary professor at some foreign universities, including Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and Kirgizstan. As the resource person, he has delivered thousands of public lectures, interviews and talk shows in media since the beginning of his significant career of more than 28 years. He has published some books on entrepreneurship in two languages and is conducting classes in different universities on entrepreneurship development.
